Maidenhead's Colts progressed to round two of the National Colts Cup on Sunday (Sep29) after a hard fought win over Beckenham.
Full back Mike Davies opened the scoring with a fine solo try which was converted by Will Wheddon.
The lead was short-lived, however, as Beckenham notched up a 12-7 lead only to be pegged back to 14-12 at half time.
From then on the Colts scored two more tries, Morgan doubling his tally with Wheddon converting and then Charlie Thomas forcing his way over to seal the victory 26-17.
The Colts will now face the Redingensians on October 20 in round two.
