The exodus of players from cash-strapped Slough Jets has gained pace with three more players leaving The Hangar.
Ciaran Long, Dan Davies and Lee Richardson will join previously announced Dan Scott in departing the club after receiving more lucrative offers from rival clubs.
Long, a former play-off winner with the Jets, returned to the team midway through last season and was one of head coach Slava Koulikov’s priorities to re-sign for the 2013/14 campaign.
Long is having his career best season to date and is currently leading the Jets’ scoring.
Davies is a former Slough Junior Jet who transferred to Bracknell before being brought back to the Hangar by Peter Russell and has gone on to be one of the best British forwards in the EPIHL while Richardson was a summer signing for Koulikov.
A versatile player, capable of playing up front or in defence his great two way game has been a real asset to the Jets so far this season as have his 10 assists.
Jets' director of operations Steve English said the club had already started the search to replace those who have left.
"Coming on the back of Dan Scott's announcement last week these three further departures are heart breaking for the Jets and I'm sure the fans," he said.
"All four players are popular players, all four are valuable assets and we’re sad to see them go.
"On behalf of the club we'd like to thank them all for their efforts over their times with the club and wish them the very best in their continuing careers."
