Telford Tigers 2, Slough Jets 4
Slough Jets produced an encouraging display to claim their first points of 2014 with a 4-2 win at Telford Tigers on Sunday.
Slough took the lead on 16.20 when Ales Padelek slapped the puck past Declan Ryan in the Tigers’ goal, and they increased their lead on 21.41 with another goal from Padelek. Matt Towalski’s third goal put the Jets in the driving seat, but the Tigers were determined not to let them have it all their own way.
The Tigers switched their netminder, with Sam Gospel taking over from Ryan, and it galvanised the hosts into a response.
With Padelek sitting out after a high stick call Telford pulled a goal back through Miika Kiriranta’s strike on 35.15.
Nathan Salem then made it 3-2 with a goal on 38.44, but Kamil Tvrdek ensured the Jets would leave the Tigers’ lair with all the points with a goal on 45.04.

Just four minutes into the third period Ollie Bronniman scored the winner to put Bracknell 3-2 up, Thompson notched his second on a powerplay to make it 4-2 on 48.30, and Scott Spearing finished the scoring slapping the puck into an unguarded net, after the Jets had pulled their keeper in the final minute.
