More than £1,000 was raised for the Alexander Devine Children's Hospice at the annual Dinner Dance of the Maidenhead and District Chamber of Commerce.
The black-tie event was hosted by the newly elected president of the chamber, Olu Odeniyi, and held at Dorney Lake, off Court Road, Dorney, on Saturday.
Among the guests were the Home Secretary, Theresa May; leader of the Royal Borough, Cllr David Burbage; and Alexander Devine’s founders, Fiona and John Devine.
A raffle and charity auction raised £1,020 for the hospice, which is about to start construction of Berkshire's first children’s hospice in Woodlands Park
